Venerdì scorso sono andata a vedere il concerto di Giulio Nenna e Manuel Buda per l'uscita del loro primo disco "Cielo e terra". Ho conosciuto e sentito suonare entrambi in momenti diversi della mia vita, ma non li avevo mai sentiti suonare insieme. Sono tutti e due musicisti professionisti di grandissima abilità e in "Cielo e terra" propongono melodie mediterranee sia composte da loro sia di autori famosi. Sono entrambi bravissimi e, anche se non è musica che sentirei tutti i giorni, mi sono piaciuti tutti i brani. Se proprio si deve trovare qualche difetto è nel virtuosismo degli artisti che in certe esecuzioni è quasi eccessivo.
Last Friday I went to see the concert by Giulio Nenna and Manuel Buda for the release of their first album, "Cielo e terra". I have known and heard play both of them at different times in my life, but I had never heard them playing together. They are both professional musicians of great skill and in "Heaven and Earth" they propose Mediterranean melodies composed by both of them and by famous authors. They are both very good, and even if it is not music that I'd hear every day, I liked all the songs. If I had to find some defect it lays in the virtuosity of the artists who in some ensembles it is almost excessive.
Ma la cosa migliore della serata è stata la bancarella a forma di pomodoro fuori dalla Bocconi.
But the best thing of the evening was the tomato shaped stand outside the Bocconi.
Visto che dovevo spostarmi da sola di notte con i mezzi, ho scelto un look non troppo vistoso.
Since I had to move around alone by night using public tansport, I chose a not too flashy outfit.
