Shopping autunnale/Autumn shopping

After more than a month without buying clothes (only food, comics, and creative material, although I have to say that I participated to a swap party), I was possessed by the demon of shopping again. After this frenzy I decided  to try avoid shopping until Milan's craft fair where I know I always end up buying too much stuff and spending more than I should.
Let's go on with my purchases (sorry for the bad photos, with these days of bad weather I could not find a decent light). At the street market of Valvassori Peroni (Milan) I bought three kind of charms for 1€ each. Despite my too many necklaces I could not resist these leaves. And I will probably never use all those forks, but they were too cute. Instead, the cameo bases were a smart purchase to make personalized Christmas gifts.

At an used clothes stall I found this thick cotton cable-knit sweater and for 1€ I could not resist. I already have too many white sweaters (hence I forbid myself to buy more without giving away a few). But this, as well as being beautiful, looks kinda vintage and is shorter than the ones I already have, so I expect it to look very good with skirts.

At the same stall I bought, again for 1€, a pair of thick yellow tights with silver thread. There is a serious possibility that they are too long, but most of thick tights that I found discounted last year is ripping, so I'm desperate enough to want to risk. For the same reason at Papiniano street market (Milan) I took the risk to buy a whole range of tights for 1€: lilac, burgundy, brown with white hearts, silver with black dots and black with stars. They are thinner than the ones I prefer, so there's the risk of breaking them quickly, but they are very nice and I hope they will help me to reach the sales period in order to allow me to buy some nice thick tights for cheap.

And finally, the top purchase: a pair of boots, exactly as I wanted them, to deal with the autumn rains. According to the manager of the stall of Papiniano market where I bought them, they are discounted leftover stock of a good shop. I chose these boots both for their appearance and because they seemed well made, with a stitched and not glued sole, a feature that should give greater water resistance. I hope I choose well because they costed 30€, more than I usually spend on market shoes (although much less than I would have spent on a pair of Dr. Martens), but mostly because finding myself with wet feet in shoes that I have wear all day is one of the things I hate most.

Another recent get concerns the soft furnishings. Slowly, between technical problems, tasks and difficulties, the work in my apartment continues. Since we have not yet finished even the most urgent things, in terms of interior decoration we are still terribly late, but every now and then, almost by accident, comes an addition. One is this sofa cover that my friend Ade bought for her house, but that was too small and was given to me. At this point I'd like to do the living room all in red and white with some wooden furniture.

The boots are awesome! I also have the same problem with shoes...I buy many pairs of cheap shoes and then end up with wet toes every time it rains... :((

@Rihannon: thank you! Cheap shoes are so much a tentation.
