Il mio shopping a Pietra Ligure/My shopping in Pietra Ligure

At thr antiques market on the seafront of Pietra Ligure I bought 18 decorated metal buttons for 3€, that given the normal price of the buttons seemed a bargain. I also bought a ring and two pins (of which the deer one has to be repaired) for a total of 2€.
I also had a great stroke of luck: I found one of the few issues of PK missing from my collection. It was amazing to read a PK issue that I had never read before so many years after the end of the series.
With great courage, I restrained myself from buying yet another straw hat and yet another grandmother like blouse.

At the michettin food festival I bought the dress about which I was uncertain last year, paying € 5, including the belt.
I also took two books I wanted to read for a while, Spoon River and Emma, for 3 € each.

At the normal Saturday market I took an used dress for 5€. I searched for this powder green for a while, so I am very happy. I guess my lace craze is returning.

Since I don't want to buy anything for a while, I'll include in this list even the coconut deodorant by Cien, I bought at Lidl. It lasts a long time and actually smells of coconut, but it is a bit sweet. But I'm satisfied.

I love the deer pin! Is it black, or dark brown? A black deer pin seems so sweet and gothic at the same time...also, I want to read Emma too! Did you finish it yet?

Piperita Patty ha detto...

@Rhiannon: it's black, but it's all ruined, so I tought of repainting it.
Yes, i did finish Emma. It was good! Not the best by the author, but definitely worth it. I got super involved and now I'm reading all Austen's books!
