A fine mese io e la Pelosa Metà andremo a Londra per il matrimonio di una mia amica che si è trasferita lì qualche anno fa. La mia amica si sposa il sabato e noi abbiamo deciso di approfittarne per stare nella capitale anche la domenica e il lunedì. Per la prima volta useremo Airbnb e alloggeremo in zona Camden, vicino a King's Cross.
Visto che dovremo conciliare dei tempi molto stretti con le esigenze del matrimonio, le mie che sono già stata a Londra due volte (trovate le mie cronache di viaggio qui), e quelle della Pelosa Metà che non ci è mai stata, ho iniziato a stendere un programma abbastanza dettagliato. Gli unici unici caposaldi sono il British, che il mio fidanzato vuole assolutamente vedere, e lo spettacolo al Globe (e ovviamente il matrimonio e la successiva festa!), per il resto ho cercato di scegliere mete vicine fra loro e al quartiere dove staremo e che possibilmente io non abbia ancora visitato. Il lunedì sarà una bank holyday, quindi molte cose rischiano di essere chiuse, il che è una fregatura.
Se avete consigli su quello che ho messo in programma o su altro che non ho messo e invece ci andrebbe, o su posti dove mangiare, vi ringrazio tantissimo!
Sabato 28
6:45: partenza da Milano.
8:00: arrivo a Londra.
10:00: Matrimonio della mia amica!
Corsa al B&B. Eventuale giretto a Camden se non riusciamo a convincere il proprietario ad anticipare il check-in.
13:00: orario ufficiale del check in.
Corsa alla festa di matrimonio (ho scoperto che sarà vicino al V&A Museum of Childhood, ma non credo riusciremo a visitarlo perché chiude alle 17:45).
Domenica 29
Pranzo da Kimchee in 71 High Holborn o da Franco Manca in 98 Tottenham Court Road che la domenica fanno orario continuato.

Cena d'asporto (una possibilità è Shake-Shack), in modo da essere al Globe Theatre alle 18.

At the end of the month my Hairy Half and I are going to London for the wedding of a friend of mine who moved there a few years ago. My friend is getting married on a Saturday and we decided to take this opportunity to stay in the capital even the Sunday and the Monday. For the first time we will use Airbnb and will stay in Camden, near King's Cross.
As we will have to coordinate tight deadlines with the schedule of the marriage, whith my demands as I have already been to London twice (you can read my travel chronicles here), and those of my Hairy Half who has never been there, I started to write down a fairly detailed program. The only fundamental points are the British, that my boyfriend absolutely want to visit, and the play at the Globe (and of course the wedding and the following party!), for the rest I tried to choose destinations close between them and to the neighborhood where we will stay, and that possibly I have not visited yet. That Monday will be a bank holyday, so many things are likely to be closed, which is a pity.
If you have suggestions about what I put in the program or something else that I didn't put in it and should have, or about places where to eat, thank you very much!

Run to the B&B. Stroll in Camden if we didn't manage to convince the owner to make us check-in early.
13:00: Official check in time.
Run to the wedding party (I found out that it will be near the V&A Museum of Childhood, but I don't think we will be able to visit it because it closes at 17:45).

British Museum.
Lunch at Kimchee in 71 High Holborn or at Franco Manca in 98 Tottenham Court Road that on Sunday are open all day long.

L'ultima volta che sono andata a Londra è stato... per un matrimonio!! XD In quell'occasione con gli amici abbiamo infilato anche un giretto al Borough Market, pieno di ciBBo interessante, e lì vicino ho scoperto l'esistenza dalla Southwark Cathedral, molto ma molto bella da visitare all'interno :)

Grazie delle dritte! Il mercato mi è stato molto consigliato, ma pare che domenica, il giorno in cui sarebbe più comodo, sia chiuso. Magari riusciremo a vedere almeno la cattedrale!
Oh Londra *.* ci sono stata un 3 anni fa, mi è piaciuta una sacco Westminster Abbey, secondo me è una tappa che non può mancare se riesci a incastrala. Divertitevi ^^
