La mia amica Siobhan per il mio compleanno mi ha regalato due prodotti Lush che aveva provato e trovato favolosi: lo struccante "Non ti Scordar di Me" e la maschera per capelli "Capelli d'Angelo".
Dello struccante continuavo a sentir parlare bene ed è effettivamente ottimo: la consistenza è unticcia e ne basta pochissimo per rimuovere trucco e sporcizia con l'aiuto di un batuffolo di cotone umido. Contiene olio di mandorle dolci, acqua ed essenza di rose, cera d'api, miele, iris, benzoino. Rispetto ad altri prodotti Lush ha il vantaggio di durare più di un anno.
Ne avevo proprio bisogno, con lo struccante chimico che usavo prima, per quanto mi struccassi accuratamente, ogni mattina mi svegliavo che sembravo un panda.
Assolutamente promosso.
La maschera "Capelli d'Angelo" è fatta con foglie di Bay Rum, crescione, uova, banane, avocado, aceto, olio e vari altri ingredienti. I profumi dominanti, però, sono quelli della banana e della cannella, che trovo buonissimi. Sono molto persistenti (durano più di un giorno), il che può essere un vantaggio se vi piacciono, ma se non vi piacciono può essere molto sgradevole.
Il modo d'utilizzo suggerito è applicare la maschera in abbondanza sui capelli asciutti, aspettare 20 minuti e risciacquare con lo shampoo. L'effetto immediatamente visibile dovrebbe essere una maggiore luminosità dei capelli. Per ammorbidire i capelli si suggerisce di usarla una volta alla settimana per sei settimane.
Io la uso da metà gennaio, quindi ormai le sei settimane sono passate. Ho sempre tenuto la maschera più dei 20 minuti consigliati. Essendo molto densa si può tenere comodamente in posa mentre si fa altro. Sotto la doccia si sciacqua rapidamente senza bisogno di insistere.
Dopo il singolo uso della maschera i miei capelli mi sono sembrati un po' più belli, ma non in maniera davvero rilevante (bisogna dire che io ho l'hennè che tende a lucidarli, quindi è difficile che diventino ancora più lucidi). Dopo le sei settimane mi pare che i miei capelli siano un po' più morbidi e ho ricevuto dei complimenti, ma non mi sembra siano successi miracoli.
Insomma, un prodotto gradevolissimo e una coccola talmente pratica che perfino una pigrona come me se la può permettere. I miei capelli sono migliorati, anche se non notevolmente e il rapporto fra prezzo e numero di applicazioni (considerando anche che ho i capelli lunghi) è molto positivo, quindi sto pensando di ricomprarlo.
My friend Siobhan for my birthday gave me two Lush products that she had tried and found fabulous: the make-up remover "Ultrabland" and the hair mask "H'Suan Wen Hua".
I already had great things about the makeup remover and is actually very good: the texture is greasy and it takes very little product to remove makeup and dirt with the help of a damp cotton ball. It contains sweet almonds oil, rose water and essence, beeswax, honey, iris, benzoin. Compared to other Lush products it has the advantage of lasting more than a year.
I really needed it, with the chemical makeup remover that I used before, though I removed my make up thoroughly, every morning I wake up looking like a panda.
Absolutely promoted.
The "H'Suan Wen Hua" Hair mask is made with leaves of Bay Rum, watercress, eggs, bananas, avocado, vinegar, oil, and various other ingredients. The dominant scents, however, are those of banana and cinnamon, which I really love. They are very persistent (lasting longer than one day), which can be an advantage if you like them, but if you do not like them can be very unpleasant.
The suggested way of use is to apply the mask on dry hair in abundance, wait 20 minutes and rinse with shampoo. The immediately visible effect should be increased hair brightness. To soften the hair it is suggested to use it once a week for six weeks.
I'm using it since mid-January, and now the six weeks have passed. I always kept the mask more than the recommended 20 minutes. Being very thick you can comfortably let it work while doing other stuff. In the shower it can be rinsed quickly with no need to insist.
After a single use of the mask my hair seemed a bit more beautiful, but not in a really relevant way (I have to say that I have henna, that tends to give them lustre, so it's hard for them to become even shinier). After the six weeks it seems to me that my hair is a little softer and I recieved compliments about my hair, but I don't think miracles happened.
In short, a very pleasant product and a cuddle so practical that even a lazy girl like me can afford it. My hair got better, even if not really noticeably and the correlation between price and number of applications (even considering that I have long hair) is very positive so I'm thinking of buying it soon.
